I initially went to the program as a courtesy to a friend who helped organize it, but I ended up very grateful that I went. It was so informative. You think you know everything about such a topic, but there’s so much more to know than the average person knows.The presenter was extremely knowledgeable and clear, and empowering as well – she told us exactly how to broach the topic if we suspect a friend of ours is involved in an abusive relationship.
